Solheim Cup starts with ‘complete disaster’ for fans 

The 2024 Solheim Cup started off poorly for fans due to major transportation issues. Thousands of fans were left stranded at a remote parking lot, waiting for shuttle buses to take them to the event. Some waited up to three hours, while others eventually gave up and went home. The first matches, which began at 7:05 a.m., saw largely empty grandstands due to the delays. Reports of closed portable restrooms added to the frustration.

The LPGA released an apology, acknowledging the issues and promising improvements, but many fans remained dissatisfied. Similar problems had plagued last year’s event in Spain, making the situation even more frustrating for attendees this year
